So, I finally get past the jam and head to the Birkdale shops. I’m hungry, right? I hit up this little café on Birkdale Rd. The barista, bless her heart, is super friendly. She’s like, “What can I get ya?” I’m like, “Just a flat white, please.” But then I see the pastries. OMG, they look divine! I end up ordering a scone too. Totally worth it.
