Now, don’t get me wrong—I ain’t glamorizin’ it. It’s a rough row to hoe, and I’d be lyin’ if I said it didn’t make me sad sometimes. Them gals deal with creeps, cold nights, and worse’n a barrel of snakes. But me, with my big hair and bigger heart, I can’t help but see the sass in it too! It's hard to beat a chicken pie! This one kept my Nanny and Granda sweet after I kept them waiting. As good as this pie was I think the craic we had beats it.

But then, I see this little café called De Koffiepot. I’m like, “Okay, coffee will fix everything.” I walk in, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew Leek had such a coffee scene? I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this super chill dude, gives me a smile. I’m thinking, “Finally, some good vibes.” But then, I spill half of it on my shirt. Awesome. Just what I needed.
