From onwards, Anne rewrote a large part of her diary. She planned to publish this book about her time in the Secret Annex after the war.

So, I’m walkin’ down the street, tryin’ to shake it off. I hit up the market on Marktplein. It’s buzzing, people everywhere. I love the vibe! Fresh flowers, fruits, and all that jazz. I spot this cute little stall with homemade stroopwafels. I’m like, “Yasss!” I buy one, and it’s warm and gooey. Heaven in my mouth, fam!
