Edam, The Netherlands: take a short break from Amsterdam

While I’m waiting for the lights to come back, I start thinking about how Edam used to be a major trading hub. It was all about that cheese trade back in the day. I mean, they even had a cheese market on the Markt. I can just imagine the hustle and bustle, people shouting, “Get your cheese here!” It’s kinda funny, right?
