Merely km from Schiphol Airport is a quaint medieval city (it’s believed the city dates to the year ), namely Appingedam, a beautiful hidden gem. The small city is pleasing to the eye .

Finally, I head back home, exhausted but kinda happy. I mean, yeah, the day was a rollercoaster. But that’s Appingedam for ya. It’s quirky, it’s chaotic, and it’s full of surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a better webcam setup, but you get the point.
