So, I was googlin’—whore’s been around forever, like ancient Rome had ‘em on speed dial. Crazy, right? Makes me angry tho, how people still sneer at it—like, chill, it’s just a gig! Although it is officially illegal, there are tens of thousands of Devadasi working in city brothels or selling their bodies on the streets, the impoverished victims of modern India’s booming.

So, I grab my gear, and I’m out the door. The streets are buzzin’ with life. Kids are playin’ on the sidewalks, and old folks are chillin’ on their porches.
