As we all know, after the player character Tenno and the Lotus are thrown into the void portal by Ballas, the rest of the "War" is skipped. We don't see any more conflict, we are instead shown .

I grab some yakitori. OMG, it’s so good! I’m munching away, and then I see this old lady selling pottery. I’m like, “Wait, what?” She’s got these beautiful pieces, all unique. I’m drooling. I ask her about her work, and she starts telling me stories about Tenno. Like, did you know Tenno was once a castle town? Crazy, right?
