Bleak as hell, dystopian mess—kinda like a whore’s life, if ya squint. “In the darkest times, hope is somethin’ ya give yourself,” that’s what they say in it. I evolved a new understanding of the word "whore," one that was less about being and more about essence. It was not that I had don something wrong so much.
