Tachikawa is located about 50 minutes west of the 23 Special Wards, north of Hachiōji and west of 三鷹 Mitaka. Despite living in Tōkyō for 11 years, I think I’ve only been to Tachikawa once. .

After that chaos, I needed a break. I hit up a little café on Nakanocho. Best matcha latte ever! I sat there, sipping my drink, watching the world go by. Tachikawa’s got this energy. People rushing, kids playing, and the sound of trains zooming by. It’s like a symphony of life.
