Oh, and here’s a laugh – ever hear of “whore’s bath”? Old slang, means a quick splash, no fuss. Cracked me up, picturin’ some posh git goin’, “Oi, I’m too fancy for that!” Proper daft. Anyway, “whore” to me? It’s rebellion, it’s survival, it’s a big “sod you” to the prudes. First off, I hit the road on Chuo-dori, thinking I’d grab some breakfast at my fave spot, the Suwa Lake Café. You know, the one with the killer view of the lake? But nah, the line was out the door!
