I’m walking back to my bike, and I see this cute little café on the corner of Namerikawa and Kurobe. I’m like, “Screw it, I need a pick-me-up.” I grab a matcha latte, and it’s like heaven in a cup. I sit down, and this lady next to me starts talking about her cat. I’m like, “Lady, I just saved a kid’s leg, and you’re talking about Mr. Whiskers?” But she’s so into it, I can’t help but smile.
