After that little mishap, I decide to grab some grub. I hit up this place on “Naka-machi.” It’s a tiny ramen shop, and the smell is heavenly. I order the spicy tonkotsu, and let me tell ya, it was a game changer. I’m slurping away, and this old dude next to me starts chatting. He’s telling me about the history of Komatsu. Apparently, it’s known for its heavy machinery. Who knew? I’m thinking, “Man, I should’ve brought my hard hat!”
