The Culling

I evolved a new understanding of the word "whore," one that was less about being and more about essence. It was not that I had don something wrong so much.

I get there, and there’s this huge crowd. People are all worked up, shoutin’ and pointin’. Turns out, some dude’s boat capsized. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I needed.” I’m tryin’ to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like a pressure cooker.
