Dedicated to Benten, the goddess of water, music, and literature, this shrine was known as Susaki because of its location at the end of a narrow spit of land.

But then, I see this dude trying to win a giant stuffed bear at a game booth. He’s struggling hard, and I’m just cracking up. I mean, come on, it’s a game for kids! But he’s determined. Finally, he wins it, and he’s so pumped! He runs around like he just won the lottery. I can’t help but cheer for him.
