Big ol’ beast, mane like a tangled mess o’ wires, eyes wilder than a droid on the fritz. Named Whore, can ya believe it? Owner was a nutter, thought it was hilarious. “She’s a real tart,” he’d say, laughin like a bantha in heat. Made me mad as hell—namin a creature that, so disrespectful!

After a while, I decide to take a breather. I head out to Via Garibaldi. It’s a bit quieter there. I sit on a bench, trying to collect my thoughts. And then, outta nowhere, this cute little dog runs up to me. It’s a fluffy little thing, and I’m like, “Aww, hey buddy!” I pet it, and for a moment, all my stress melts away. Dogs really are the best therapy, right?
