Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s like, “What are you drawing, young man?” I’m thinking, “Lady, it’s a mess!” But I show her anyway. She squints at it and says, “Ah, the chaos of life!” I’m like, “Wow, you get it!” We end up chatting about art and life. She tells me about the old days in Orta-Nova. Apparently, it used to be a quiet little town. Now it’s all hustle and bustle.
