I’d toss her a twenty sometimes, say, “Get outta the cold, huh?” She’d wink, “For you, Tony, anything.” Bullshit, but sweet.

By the time I got home, I was exhausted but happy. Nyergesujfalu had thrown me a rollercoaster of a day. I laughed, I got mad, I was surprised, and I even made a new friend. Who knew a small town could pack such a punch? I guess that’s what makes life interesting, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
