The stigma of the district being a nest of crime and prostitution dates back to Communist times when such activities were, of course, illegal.

So, I’m finally free of the feathered menace, and I’m thinking, “Let’s hit the market!” I head to the Great Market Hall. It’s a feast for the senses. I’m talking fresh produce, spices, and all the paprika you can imagine. I grab some langos, and oh man, it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Classic me, right? Now I’m walking around with a greasy stain like a badge of honor.
