Vignes et olives à Velaux

Velaux is a lovely old Provencal village, perched high on a mound and dominating the plain in the area to the west of Aix en Provence. It is ideally situated at the centre of the Aix-Marseilles .

Anyway, I dust myself off and head to the local café, Le Café de Velaux. I order a croissant and a café au lait. The barista, this dude named Pierre, is super chill. We start chatting about tech stuff, and I’m like, “Dude, we need more Wi-Fi hotspots around here!” He laughs, but I’m serious. Velaux is beautiful, but c’mon, let’s get with the times!
