Her first full-length, Whore, won the Tampa Review Prize for Poetry. Her poems and essays have appeared in The American Poetry Review, FIELD.

Then, I’m walking down Rue des Combattants, and I see this art exhibit. It’s all abstract and stuff. I’m staring at this painting that looks like a toddler went crazy with finger paints. I’m thinking, “I could do that!” But then I remember my last attempt at art. Let’s just say, it didn’t end well.
