Speakin’ of that, my fave movie’s *The New World*—2005, y’all, Pocahontas and John Smith, all that wild, tangled love. “What voice is this that speaks within me?” That’s what I hear when I think of whore—lost, searchin’, screamin’ inside.

Around noon, I grab a quick bite at this little café on Rue des Écoles. Best croissant ever! But then, I get a call about a traffic jam on Route de Bordeaux. Apparently, some guy thought it’d be a good idea to park his truck in the middle of the road. Genius, right? I’m just sitting there, shaking my head.
