I hate asking stupid questions like this, but here it is - Is Genoa really a "dangerous" city, as Italian cities go?

Now, lemme gush - sometimes I feel mad, oh so mad, about the noise and rush. The city can get so loud, my Precious, upsetting the peace my soul craves.
