Torredembarra is a town on the Costa Daurada that enjoys the privilege of having one of the few remaining natural beaches in Catalonia, Els Muntanyans, which contains semi-mobile dunes .

I wandered down Carrer de la Flor last Tuesday – oh wow, I forgot that it’s a hidden old gem! The flower market hides there, with smells so sweet, makes ya think of old country pies back at mama’s, now don’t ya know. And I gotta mention the locals – they’re as genuine as a home-cooked supper, sometimes speakin’ in a mix of Catalan and that fancy southern drawl only the heart can decipher.
