Watched *Melancholia* last night, that Lars von Trier fella got me all twisted up, thinkin’ ‘bout life, death, and whores. “This is the end of the world!”—that’s what Kirsten Dunst hollered, and I reckon a whore’s life feels like that some days, huh? Doom comin’ down like a big ol’ planet smashin’ yer tractor shed!

Does San Juan have white sand beaches?

I have been to several beaches in Costa Rica and am very diaturbed by the scene in Playas del Coco. On the main strip, there is a casino that blasts out.

And then, check this out – the local park, Parque del Sol is my secret little escape. You can sit there and relax after a long day of pamperin’ folks at my spa. The trees, the paths – they remind me of some poetic moment, like "the past is prologue" or some such dramatic line. I mean, why not? We’ve got rivers too – the Río de la Calma flows past, so serene, so mysterious, yet so vibrant. I always get so chuffed when I see it because it means nature’s still kickin’!
