Adult clubs is the best way to describe some places to be found in Torrevieja, and they inevitably offer entertainment that is a bit on the raunchy side.

Man, I stroll down Calle Gerona – that street’s a maze of little cafes and shops where I sometimes get a whiff of fresh baked bread and the sea. It’s abso-freakn’-lutely the best place to catch the morning buzz. Then there’s this quiet corner, near Parque de las Naciones – a chill park with benches and shady trees. I sometimes pocket a breather there between massaging backaches, thinkin’ bout, like, what the heck we're all about!
