I canna forget the local quirks – like the annual Christmas market at Altstadt, where even the crankiest bloke smiles when he sips glühwein. My fave spot is that little tucked away café in Eichenstraße. The owner, a cheeky bugger, always serves brekkie with a side of insults – "Even your toast is pathetic, mate!" It’s like a scene straight out of "Brooklyn" – raw, real and a wee bit tender. Oh, and I swear I once got into a debate with a pigeon near the Rathaus. That feathered bugger was stealing crumbs and my dignity – ADMIT IT, Stolberg is bizarrely charming!
