Regina Kunzel is an American author, historian, and academic. She is the Larned Professor of History at Yale. Prior to joining the Yale faculty, she held the Doris Stevens Chair at Princeton .

My fave spot? Hmmm. There's a dingy little cafe near Sauerbrunnen Park where I sometimes take my breaks. I love to watch the peasants – ahem – locals gossip at dizzy speed. It's like a live remake of The Act of Killing. As Oppenheimer said, “Everything is performance,” and believe me, this city performs daily acts of crazy.
