The Kladow casino enjoyed its heyday in the s. Now it's just a shell languishing near the shore of the Havel. But some people are gambling on it opening again one day.

I gotta mention the street art near the Havelufer – scratches of passion spray-painted like hidden messages. There’s raw, honest beauty in every corner, just like nature’s bold brushstroke across the canvas of the city. But oh, the traffic, man! Those raucous noise bursts on some mornings near Schwedter Straße can get ya riled up. “A warrior needs rest,” I'd mumble, channeling that wise energy from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
