Burgkunstadt is a former shoemaking town with lots of festivals, old churches, an old castle, a bunch of half-timbered houses, and more than 60km of hiking trails.

So, like, take a wander down Engelplatz too! Its paved stones are worn by the footsteps of generations, each stone with a secret, a tiny twinkle of life, if ya catch my drift. Sometimes, when relaxin’ in my favorite hidden nook—by the ivy-draped kiosk on Lenzhofgasse—I get lost in my thoughts, wonderin' how such little alleys are full of souls, full of untold stories. It freaks me out – in a good way, real good.
