My favorite? Oh, easily the park near the river Wipper. It’s like, you sit down on one of those ancient benches (I swear they got history written on ‘em) and the water hums with ancient love stories and modern day mischief. Funny thing – once, I was chatting with a local poet (real boho soul, I’m tellin’ ya) about the fluidity of desire, and that river, it just glistened like it knew every secret we wove into our talk. It was straight out of a movie scene, “a little but so much, like wet dreams in daylight” – I swear, it was all magical.
