Tharandt is in Saxony, 30 minutes west of Dresden. The city is worth a short visit and is mainly your starting point to explore the surrounding forests and nature.

Every alley and corner breathes history. I sometimes wander off to the old train station area – a sad, forgotten spot that's sort of moooddy yet evocative. Sharon! It always brings back vivid memories, bits of sound and feeling that ooze with a psychedelic flow. And on windy nights, when the clouds roll in from the Erzgebirge, it hits my trully – a rush like no other.
