Many people come to Ruhpolding to get to know the typical Bavarian landscape, air painting and way of life. Hikers, bikers, snow lovers, but also families, fans of traditional customs and quiet .

I must share my fave secret: the tiny bookshop tucked on Münchner Straße. It’s a miserably adorable spot where history meets literature. There, every random book smells like a million untold stories. And oh, I once found the strangest self-help book there that literally made me think “Just keep swimming!”—a phrase that despite its silliness, comforted me during particularly tense times.
