Located in the Hönnetal valley in Sauerland and just a stone's throw away from the major cities of Dortmund and Hagen, Menden boasts forests, water, plenty of greenery and a picturesque .

Dunno why, but sometimes I get all emotional come sunset – the sky gets all crazy pink and purple, and I swear, it's like the ultimate drum solo of nature. I get mad when some tourists step on the grass at the park, but I'm also tickled by the raw energy that makes me proud to call this Menden my joint. I ain't perfect, and neither is Menden. Love it hard. It ain’t always hemblin' smooth – sometimes, it's just a messed up, beautiful chaos.
