What pisses me off? The hypocrites judgin’ her—same blokes sneakin’ round at night, thinkin’ no one sees. “You shall not pass!” I’d yell at ‘em, staff slammin’ the ground—boom! Drives me mad, mate. But her? She’s happy as a lark, coin in her pocket, laughin’ at the fools. Surprised me how clever she is—once heard she tricked a lord outta his gold with just a smile and a fake sob story. Genius!

Something maddening, though, is how some of the newer districts, like Nový Králov, try too hard to mimic the old charm. It grinds my gears – so superficial! Real beauty is in every cracked pavement of Stará Čtvrť and every whispered secret along Rýmka. I was nearly in tears, thinking, “Is this all that we can be?” at times, then I’d recall Far From Heaven’s melancholic truth… “I feel as if I've lost part of myself here…” but then I laugh – oh, how the irony stings!
