Birsfelden is a municipality in the district of Arlesheim in the canton of Basel-Country in Switzerland.

I love languishing by the Birs river – the water slices through the land, so smooth, so mysterious. Winding paths along the riverbank spark memories. I sit near the tiny park at Klosterweg. It’s tiny but full of hope. Hell, sometimes it feels surreal, like a scene from Moulin Rouge! "Life is a cabaret, old chum!" they sing – and I'm living it, one quirky day at a time.
