I remember one day, not too long ago, feelin' overwhelmed by life's chaos (seriously, a hectic day!) and I hit up Oakwood Park. Boy, that park is a miracle! Wide open grassy spots, laughers echoing amongst the trees, and a little creek that whispers secrets to anyone brave enough to listen. The creek? Crazy pretty, flows into the wild Riverbend, a ribbon of liquid glitter slicing through the city. I swear, sometimes it feels like nature slapped us with pure magic, you know?
