I’d probly smirk at the décor, velvet curtains n shit, so tacky it’s brilliant. Dr. Evil – pinky-to-mouth, “One million dollars,” I’d notice the smell first, cheap perfume and sweat, hits ya like a brick. Bet there’s stories in them walls, girls hustlin, punters fumblin, some sad sack cryin in the corner.

The neighborhoods here? Absolute gems. There’s this artsy buzz near Vanier Centre where murals splatter colors like emotions in a subway ride – and yes, they're as deep as a Jean-Luc Godard quote. I walked past the annual street art festival and for a sec, I nearly thought, “Wow, this is the corporate dream, but make it art.”
