Don't get me started on the rivers – Cosmic River flows right through downtown. Its banks are a meeting spot for chill souls and street artists. I often sneak a peek at sundown from its bridge (yeah, the same bridge where I once had to deal with a disgruntled client with a bad back – gotta love that irony, amirite?) The river’s vibe reminds me of that line from the movie: "You know, sometimes the world just feels like it's burning, but it's still beautiful." Yeah, that kinda thing.
