The local park, Parque dos Sonhos, is my fave. Its paths wind around like secrets. I sit there, digesting my thoughts after a long counseling session. I once met a lady who said the park whispered, “Your pains are valid”. It kinda freaked me out – in a good way, ya know? Also, near the park's edge is the Rio das Emos, a small river that cuts through the city. Its banks, with little ruelas and alleys, remind me often of hidden chapters in life.
