I love the riverfront near Ponte da Liberdade – it's got this almost magical aura. I sometimes pause, lean on the cool metal railing, and just go "wow..." in a zen-like moment. The city sometimes feels like it's narrating its own life story, slow and silent, much like Malick's poetic pauses, "the mystery of life."
