You get mad, and sometimes happy when you see folks still proud of the place. I've got my own quirks too—I like to wander along the banks of the Itapecuru River. Yeah, that river ain't the Amazon, but it's got spirit, flowin’ through neighborhoods like Vila Esperança and Jardim das Flores. And trust me, if you ever want to feel alive, chill by the river at dusk, drinkin' some cheap beer, and thinkin' life ain’t so bad even if it's a bloody mess.
