There's this little riverside path along the Rio da Serenidade. I used to walk there after long counseling sessions, thinking “hey, life's messy, but there's beauty in decay.” Sometimes, it just breaks my heart—ya feel me? Oddly enough, the gentle murmur of the river helps me reset, like a ritual. And oh! The street art on Rua de Liberdade—it's insane, raw, and a bit provocative. Reminds me, again, of that line: “I ate his liver with fava beans,” in the sense of consuming every bitter morsel of life to savor the sweet afterwards.
