Man, I’ve seen more than my share of spectacle. Sometimes, my hands get all tingly from the pulses of this living, breathing city. I get mad too – like when the cicadas drown out the whispers of the wind, or when the rain spills secrets across cracked pavements. But then, I laugh at it all; it’s the rhythm of Belem, unpredictable as a wild river rapids. Even when days get rough, I remember, "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter…and Spring" – the eternal cycle of chaos and calm.
