Use of the word whore is widely considered pejorative, especially in its modern slang form of ho. In Germany, however, most prostitutes' organizations deliberately use the word Hure (whore) .

I stroll through Jardim das Maravilhas (yeah, that's a legit neighborhood!) and hear the laughter of kids, and whispered secrets from the trees. Crazy, right? That river, Rio Anicuns, runs like a serpent—sometimes whispering, sometimes roaring. It’s sooo chill in the early mornings. I had a mad epiphany there when the water glistened, just like the faerie tales in my fav movie.
