Man, some neighborhoods like São Francisco da Penitência are hidden gems. The residents there got grit. They fight, laugh, and cry, all in one go. Not perfect, kinda like our messy human brains. Sometimes, I'd get so mad at the injustice I see on the streets (seriously, f***in' injustice everywhere) but then an unsuspecting smile from a stranger gives me that soft, warm feeling like in Her when Theodore says, "I just feel... Amazing." Oh, and yes, I type with 13 typos 'cos I'm in a hurry—c'mon, it's raw, it's real!
