Lemme drop some truth bombs—didja know “whore” comes from some old Germanic word, “hora” or somethin’? Meant “lover” way back, ain’t that a hoot? Kinda makes ya wonder how it got all dirty and mean. I got mad when I found that out—damn language twistin’ stuff up! Used to be sweet, now it’s a cuss word. Pisses me off, but also cracks me up—history’s a sneaky sumbitch.

Not to mention all the tiny details – the funky street art on the walls near Boulevard du Rire, the secret little wine bar near Restaurante La Bohème, and even that one time I nearly tripped on a loose cobblestone on Rue du Rêve (don’t ask, it’s a long story!). I mean, every cracked pavement tells a tale.
