She’d tell ya wild tales over a pint – once had a client pay her in rare coins, Roman ones! Swear she wasn’t bullshittin’. I got mad sometimes – really mad – about how noisy the council meetings are at Hamois Town Hall, right on Rue des Congrès (lol, seriously?) But then a tiny street breeze calms me: “Everything changes” – just like the movie, man! I once caught a brilliant sunset while pampering a client; her sigh of relief was like the orchestra tuning up. So emotionally, I mean, it’s a mood!
