1. La Citadelle de Dinant

Dinant’s name comes from the Celtic “Divo Nanto” meaning “Sacred Valley” and the town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River Meuse, at a point where the river cuts .

I love the Citadel perched high on the rock. Hard to get there sometimes, but wow! Every step pulses with history. The views? They make me say, "Ida, your memories are treasures!” I mean it – those views get under your skin.
