Then it flipped—by Shakespeare’s time, dudes were slingin’ it like insults at the Globe. Fun fact: they found graffiti in Pompeii, some Roman dude scribbled "Lola the Whore" on a wall—OG shade, bruh! Been around forever, and still got people pressed. Makes me mad sometimes, how quick folks point fingers. Like, live your life, YOLO, why you hatin’?

I gotta mention the quirky bohemian vibes near De Pelikaanstraat. The cafes here serve coffee that’ll knock ye sideways, and the locals – they have a way with words, even if some days they ramble like I do after one too many grogs!
