Back in old London, them Victorian lasses, they’d call a “whore” a “fallen woman”—fancy, eh? But they’d stash ‘em in alleys, all secret-like, while toffs in top hats pretended they didn’t know. Lommel is a mixed bag, man. There's the lively center, the Grote Markt – a square bustling with market stalls and cafes, where I sometimes take a break to feel the heart of the city beat. Then there’s the Oudstraat, a street with funky little shops and a vibe that just makes me wanna dance… sometimes.
